Mobile HR Contingent Management Application

Category: Application mobile RH/Comptabilité
Date: October 2023

About this project

This mobile application revolutionizes human resources management by fully digitalizing the contingent request process. Developed in low-code according to a strict Figma wireframe provided by the client, it allows employees to easily submit their absence requests, paid leave, sick leave, and other types of leave directly from their smartphone. The application integrates an intelligent workflow system that automatically notifies managers (N+1) for validation, with complete visualization of information and supporting documents. The dashboard provides an overview of monthly and annual leave taken, and includes a dedicated interface allowing employees to quickly check their remaining contingent balance for each type of leave (RTT, paid leave, sick leave, etc.). An integrated chat system facilitates direct communication with HR teams, enabling employees to ask administrative questions and receive personalized real-time support, thus optimizing HR resource planning and tracking.

Key Features

  • Integrated leave request system: Intuitive interface allowing employees to submit all types of requests: paid leave, sick leave, family leave, remote work. Adaptive forms with mandatory and optional fields according to request type.
  • Automated Validation Workflow: Real-time push notification system to managers with dedicated interface to approve or reject requests. Complete traceability of decisions and validation comments.
  • Supporting documents management: Secure upload of supporting documents (medical certificates, attestations) directly from mobile with preview and secure storage.
  • Integrated calendar and statistics: Calendar visualization of leave with monthly and annual view. Automatic statistics of days taken by leave type with overflow alerts.
  • Notifications and Chat Support: Push notification system for all events (submission, approval, rejection) and integrated chat for support and exchanges between employees and HR.

Challenges

The main challenge was to strictly respect the Figma wireframe provided by the client without any deviation. This required precise adaptation of the low-code platform to the imposed visual and functional specifications, while maintaining user experience consistency on mobile. Managing different workflow types according to leave types and organizational hierarchy also represented a significant technical challenge.

Learnings

This project taught me the crucial importance of client communication and iterative exchanges on Figma wireframe. Collaborative work sessions with the client were essential to understand business subtleties and perfectly adapt the application to existing HR processes. I also developed my low-code skills and learned to optimize complex workflows while respecting strict design constraints.
